About This Blog

Everyone is craving authenticity these days, huh? We search for it in our friendships and our churches. We lament its absence in our politicians and culture at large. Transparency is rare, and therefore it is refreshing. We need people to be real. We need the freedom to be real ourselves.

More than that, we need our God to be real. We need to know that He is who He says He is. We need reassurance that what He says is true.

This blog is about REAL LIFE--everyday stuff like mothering and marriage. It is about REAL FAITH--what happens when the rubber meets the road and we're forced to put into practice what we believe. But, most of all, it is about a very REAL GOD--one who is faithful through the little things and can be trusted with the deepest needs and darkest times.

My prayer is that you will be encouraged and learn how to better encourage others as you read along!
